Here are my top 7 things I read, watched or listened to since the last time I made this list.

1. YouTube – Listen to 96 year old WWII Veteran, Pete Dupre perform the National Anthem before a USWNT match.

A local radio station plays the National Anthem every day at Noon and the other day they played this one. I cried listening to it & moved watching it! https://youtu.be/22UJMGcCoxI?si=g__nQW14CWMXMCw7

2. Network Television – I am obsessed with the new television show “Irrational” – perhaps it is my undergrad degrees in Behavioral Science and Criminal Justice that has me so interested, or my desire to learn more about human behavior. Either way, I find it equally entertaining and educational.

Here is the NBC description. world-renowned behavioral science professor Alec Mercer who uses his unique expertise in psychology, body language, emotion and more to help solve difficult, high-stakes cases. With the support of his research assistants, his tech-savvy sister and his ex-wife — who also happens to be an FBI agent — and guided by his fierce curiosity about human decision-making, Mercer truly has solving crime down to a science. By asking the right questions, making observations no one else can and studying every scene in new ways, there’s no case too tough for his brilliant mind to crack — except maybe his own mysterious past. It is on Monday nights at 9 PM CST

3. Netflix Season 3 of Lupin released on Netflix  at the beginning of the Month and Nicole and I binged it in an evening. Scout even woke up about 2AM wondering where we were. Don’t watch this too close. This is a French show so the mouths don’t match the words, but it’s still good.

Inspired by the adventures of Arsène Lupin, gentleman thief Assane Diop sets out to avenge his father for an injustice inflicted by a wealthy family. Like a modern day Robin Hood. Also, If you’re a Nike shoe fan – you will love this.

4. Book – “My Quotatable Kids” – I got this book when my boys were little. We enjoy reading through it from time to time and laugh at the adorable things they once said. Now we get to add all of Scouts noteworthy moments. https://www.amazon.com/dp/0811868842/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_8157FK1DX9N8S6FPQKBZ?linkCode=ml2&tag=nmstrategies-20

5. Network Television – North Dakota’s favorite country girl duo, Tigirlily Gold was on the NBC Today Show. So proud of their hard work paying off for these great young ladies.  https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02EVHqhunHg2AuSkt68SNCFZoms8kMzRNtWtmAzpBW5LJT7XJKYiF98tMzi4yxwoBJl&id=100044312502220

6. Network Television – 60 Minutes – My favorite rockstar shared more about herself. The more I listen to her the more I love that lady. In the interview she said “I don’t eat well to look good. I eat good to go far, fast and hard.” She also sang while someone was standing on her stomach. She is such a badass (in every best way). https://www.cbsnews.com/video/pink-interview-60-minutes-video-2023-10-22

7. YouTube – on this episode of “On Topic” Stephanie and I talk about Destination Addiction. Happiness isn’t a place, person, award etc – it’s the journey! https://youtu.be/ul4OqDaJ5DA?si=nORKJ_ptEBkjmJ_o
