Here are the top 7 things I read, watched or listened to this week. I would like to call this a weekly post, but my brain is saying that is too much commitment right now. I guess we’ll see where this goes.

Here are this weeks picks

7. Only Murders in the Building, Season 3 Episode 5 on Hulu – Nicole and I stumbled upon this show last year and though I thought it started out a little slow – we soon became pretty obsessed & couldn’t wait for this season to come out. Having to wait each week in between episodes is hard for us as we’ve been so spoiled with full seasons on demand, but the wait is worth it. Verdict isn’t in yet as to if we think this 3rd season is as good as the first two.

6. Audible book “I Know What To Do So Why Don’t I Do It? The New Science of Self Discipline” Nick Hall PhD – this is my listen while I clean the house audio book. It is so good & makes so much sense on how the brain works and why we do or don’t do things. https://www.audible.com/pd/B00NMVQP9O?source_code=ASSORAP0511160006&share_location=player_overflow

5. Matt Walker’s Ted Talk “Sleep is Your Superpower”I am gearing up tp host a 14 Day Sleep Challenge. This had some great content to help prep. https://youtu.be/5MuIMqhT8DM?si=Xzqw6hun1AVnCxiV

4. The book “The Unteachables” by Gordon Korman – I am reading this book to Libby. It is about a classroom of students and a teacher who are “different” than the rest of the school. Each chapter is from a different person’s point of view so you get to learn the “full story” on what’s going on in each of their lives. This is a must read for educators. https://amzn.to/44AsuEL

3. Gentle Elemental YouTube video Shamanic Drums – Deep Healing – we love Kris Kitko’s music in our house. Whether it’s a kid’s song that we are jamming out to with Scout, or her gentle elemental music – we love it. This one has been on repeat at our house for falling asleep at night. https://youtu.be/37VEAXyPEzM?si=I9uJ8jpmBW9jKzUx

2. Mel Robins Podcast “Research From Princeton: 13 Proven Hacks That Boost Your Influence & Make You More Confident” – 13 hacks that will help you be more successful, backed by research out of Princeton. If you know me – you know I love me some good research. Especially things that can help you become the best version of yourself.  https://open.spotify.com/episode/12kpgqSERudlzyK7nT7G0U?si=sUObGcB7TcKpTVrzw4Lwhg

1. Stephanie and Nicole’s “On Topic – Sleep/Rest” video. I might be pretty biased, but I think these two have a lot of great stuff to share with the world. https://youtu.be/_qV3KaIv018?si=uUWbyuYEBhYp3cDg
