Here are my top 7 things I read, watched or listened to last week.
1. Book “Moments that Matter” a few of my Oola Friends were part of a new book launch last week that hit the International Best Seller list.
The book brings 20 unique authors together to bring you short stories that help you celebrate the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
The book was created by our Oola Miracle Mindset program creator Kate Butler. Congrats to Erica, Jennifer (Nenn) and Deanna.

2. Virtual Reality Meditation TRIPP on Oculus Quest. This is meditation like you’ve never experienced before. I have been using TRiPP for over a year & still find myself mesmerized with each session. This video gives you a little glimpse into what it’s all about. If you have an Oculus, I recommend trying their free demo. https://youtu.be/leUMwq7FMz4?si=d9vAOMmlxt08m1Zg
3. Television show – Olivia Rodrigo was on the NBC Today Show Friday morning promoting her new album. The plaza was packed. Young, old, male, female, dads with their daughters and more. You could tell how connected they were to her music. It was pretty incredible to watch. https://www.today.com/today/amp-video/mmvo192527429750
4. Television Show The Bear – I finally watched both seasons of FX’s show, The Bear. I tried watching it when it came out and it was just too much yelling. I couldn’t get through more than three episodes. But after much enticing from so many people who loved it (including my neighbor who promised me season two was better) – I finished both seasons. Though there were a couple episodes of lots of yelling and trauma inducing behaviors – I finally became attached to the outcome. I found myself after the last episode bummed it was over and wanting more. The personal development of each cast member through season two was incredible to watch. I believe you can watch it on FX, Hulu and Netflix.
5. Book, Tools of Titans – I’ve had this book for a while and love it. Broke it out again to do some research on a certain topic. This book includes two years of collected intel from hundreds world-class performers from his podcast, The Tim Ferriss Show. The book contains tools, tactics, tips and life lessons from guests. They share things such as morning routines, books they like to gift, sleeping techniques, favorite workouts, business secrets and so much more. It’s one of those easy to pick up from where you left off at anytime. Read 10 chapters today and another 5 in a month. https://amzn.to/3Zh1klu
6. Book, To Kill A Mockingbird– I am reading this book to Nicole and Scout at night. I can not believe I have never read this controversial classic before. We are almost halfway done & we are really enjoying it. It may or may not have something to do with our daughter’s name 😉 https://amzn.to/3LdV4Vy
7. Children’s Book, My Beautiful Oops – my beautiful friend Danielle introduced me to the book Beautiful Oops. This interactive book demonstrates how every mistake is an opportunity to make something beautiful. Unique in every respect, this book is full of pop-ups, lift-the-flaps, tears, holes, overlays, bends, smudges, and more, each demonstrating how blunders can become wonders. When I was looking for this book I found one that you can create your own oops masterpieces. Excited to see what beautiful oopses Scout comes up with so w day. https://amzn.to/3RgpVoAhttps://amzn.to/3sENrB8
